LKP are going some way to redress the sometimes uneven balance between Landlords (Freeholders) and Tenants (Leaseholders) and rightly champion the legitimate rights of Leaseholders and best practice guidelines.
What LKP expect from a managing agent is exactly what PBM aims to deliver.
PBM strives to do things a little differently, we want flat ownership to be a pleasure and not a chore. Our business model is primarily aimed at communicating with our customers, unequivocal financial transparency (Leaseholders can visit the office to inspect the books with 24hr notice in most circumstances) and first class customer service. Essentially, we provide a service we would be happy to receive ourselves and are prepared to stand by that promise.
PBM’s customer portal allows Leaseholders web access to site reports and photos, budget vs. actual variance reports and access to your account details. We also send quarterly e-newsletters with updates about the site and other useful information.
We feel our vision for PBM runs parallel to that of LKP in that Managing Agents should be transparent in their operations and act in the best interests of the Leaseholders, administering their duty of care diligently with due care and attention given to the relevant legislation and current best practice guidelines.

Duncan’s entrepreneurial spirit knows no boundaries. Following the financial crisis he transformed the property sector by pioneering peer to peer bridging lending. He created a bespoke platform allowing private investors to fund bridging loans as an alternative to the shrinking opportunities
banks were offering. He also created the Bridging Index, an independent monitor of the bridging industry accepted by Wikipedia as the first of its kind. Duncan’s enthusiasm for leading change and promoting thought leadership brings a wealth of talent and influence to PBM’s senior team.

Sarabjeet has enjoyed over 25 years carefully steering a safe financial pathway for a number of highly dynamic companies within the property sector. His financial expertise has played a prime role in their growth and success, culminating in an FCA-regulated bridging market maker enjoying loans under management growth from £10m to £110m inside 4 years. Sarabjeet’s experience and
influence are wide-reaching and his hands-on style is an invaluable asset in all areas of PBM’s financial operations.

A veteran in residential property management with over 7 years’ experience, there’s probably
no block issue Shushanik hasn’t seen and dealt with. Her brief at PBM is crystal clear; to support our freeholders, resident associations, resident management and right to manage companies. It’s a responsibility she embraces with open arms. Through proactive action and the benefits of clear
communication, she ensures challenges are met seamlessly and dealt with through teamwork and a spirit of co-operation.
